Environmental Portraiture
Capturing images of people in their natural surroundings is an increasingly popular style of portraiture, for example, children playing at home or in the garden, mum baking in the kitchen, dad with his prized classic car, teens playing their music.
Our professional photographer will come to your home at a pre-arranged time to work with you to capture the fun that takes place in your house on a daily basis. We will work with your furniture, toys and props to produce high quality, uniquely personal images of life in your home and garden. Time and weather permitting, we may also head out to a local park.
We will schedule a private viewing of the best images from your shoot in your own home within two weeks of the session. Following this viewing, we will upload these images to a secure page on our website for you, your family and friends to view and order prints. We will send you an email with a link and password. The images will remain on our website for at least six weeks before being archived offline.
When photographing babies and young children, we recommend booking a time that fits neatly within your daily routine avoiding (or including!) nap times and meal times, to ensure that the children are more able to enjoy the experience. A session will usually last approximately two hours, slightly less for very young babies.
