Who are we?
J Clitheroe Photography is a family business, officially launched in April 2008.
Jackie Clitheroe is the sole proprietor and photographer. Jackie jumped at the opportunity to turn combine two of her favourite things - photography and a young daughter - to turn professional following the completion of her maternity leave. An affiliate member of the BIPP, Jackie is currently working towards achieving her Licentiateship qualification.
Jackie's husband, Andrew, supports her in the business as a keen amateur photographer, technical researcher and general dogsbody! Whilst Mahale acts as a (sometimes) willing model!

Green Credentials
As parents, we are personally committed to taking care of our environment, and so strive to take care in our professional life too. In our endeavours to be as 'green' as we can, we are also conscious of our desire to provide the highest quality products, and have selected our suppliers to achieve the best of both.
Reduce:
- All our cameras are digital, so there are no nasty chemicals involved in developing
film.
- We avoid printing tons of proof sheets that will just end up in the bin. Instead we offer
digital viewings of your images using our projector and screen, and upload your
images to our website for you to view and order online.
- Our photos, canvas prints and frames are all sourced from local Yorkshire-based
suppliers to reduce distribution and transportation.
- We have teamed up with Folio Albums, a top quality fine-art wedding album supplier
based in Yorkshire that share our eco-priorities.
- Our electricity supply is 100% from renewable sources.
Reuse:
- You may find that the bubble wrap or cardboard packaging on your framed prints or
canvases looks like it has been used before - that's because it has! We try to re-use
packaging wherever possible.
Recycle:
- You may think that the letters you receive from us look a a bit funny, that's because
we use 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper for our general business
stationery.
- We recycle the ink cartridges from the general printer.
- All our waste paper products are recycled.
